Privacy Policy

Excelerator™ ("we," "our," or "the App") is a workforce training and development platform built by HiveView LLC. The App provides interactive 3D training modules, process simulations, accountability coaching tools, and progress tracking for operators and leaders in industrial environments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Excelerator™, we may collect the following information:

Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Profile information: Job title, company name, role (coach or client), profile photo, display badge, accent color preference, and biographical description as provided by you.
Training data: Module completion records, simulation scores, training progress metrics, time spent in training modules, and module visit history.
Accountability data: Goals you set, habit tracking records, daily check-in responses, weekly reflections, journal entries, and progress metrics.
Coaching data: If you are a client, your assigned coach can view your training progress, goals, habits, check-ins, and progress scores. Coaches may assign specific training modules to you and track your completion status.
Location data: With your permission, we collect approximate location data to provide local weather information displayed in the App. Location data is stored as latitude/longitude coordinates and city name. You may revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Device and media data: If you choose to upload a profile photo, we access your device camera or photo library with your permission. Photos are stored securely in our cloud storage.
Usage data: App usage patterns, feature interactions, device type, operating system version, and screen size for the purpose of improving the App.
Push notification tokens: If you opt in to notifications, we store your device's push notification token to deliver check-in reminders and training alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and operate the Excelerator™ training platform.
Deliver interactive 3D training modules, process simulations, and educational content.
Track your training progress, module completions, and simulation scores.
Connect you with your designated coach or clients.
Display your training progress, accountability scores, streaks, achievements, and XP levels.
Allow coaches to monitor client training completion and assign modules.
Send push notifications and training reminders (with your consent).
Provide weather information based on your location.
Improve the App's features, training content, and user experience.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Training Content and Intellectual Property

The training modules, 3D diagrams, process simulations, procedures, safety materials, and troubleshooting guides contained within the App are proprietary content owned by HiveView LLC. This content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the training content without written permission from HiveView LLC.

4. Data Sharing

Your information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

Coach-client relationship: If you are a client, your coach can view your training progress (modules completed, scores, time spent), goals, habit data, check-ins, reflections, and progress scores. Your private journal entries are visible only to you unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Service providers: We use third-party services (such as Supabase for cloud hosting, authentication, and database services) to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use trusted cloud infrastructure providers that maintain SOC 2 compliance. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only. Profile photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct any inaccurate information in your account.
Delete your account and all associated data. You can delete your account from within the App (Profile > Delete Account) or by contacting us directly. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Account deletion removes all personal data, training progress, goals, entries, and profile information.
Export your data in a portable format upon request.
Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (such as average training completion rates and platform usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely for the purpose of improving training content.

8. Children's Privacy

Excelerator™ is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
